Local tourist attractions verge on the unique. Noosa has its own
'Big Shell' with a comprehensive display of shells . There's 'The
House of Bottles' with its own resident glass-blower, and miles
upon miles of National Park rainforest to explore.
The hinterland townships of Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran, Boreen Point,
Cooroy and neighbouring Eumundi, shelter a wealth of old Queensland
architecture, history and entertainment with restaurants and old
pubs, arts and crafts shops and historical museums.

If sunburn or showers turn you away from the beach, the many other
delights and attractions of the Noosa Shire are close by.
Along the river front, around Laguna Bay and the shores of Noosa
National Park into Sunshine Beach, you have dozens of beaches to
choose from, plus 432 hectares of National Park rainforest, wallum
heathlands, shrublands and grasslands to explore on foot.
Several local riding schools offer trail rides and beachside, lakeside
and bush treks on horseback. the less adventurous can hire a moke,
aeroplane, pushbike, seaplane, tandem, moped or a four person bike
complete with steering wheel and a'fringe on top'.
